These, I knew well. While an undergrad at UofToronto (1962-66), the Libraries were in the process of changing from one cataloguing system to another --- so 2X the number of chests of little drawers, both systems having to be checked to find relevant books & journals. I'd still find it easier today!

One of my favorite moments in the history of free speech: Larry Flynt publishing a satirical Campari ad featuring Jerry Falwell Sr. as an incestuous drunk who first had sex with his mother in an outhouse. Falwell sued. In a unanimous decision, the Supreme Court found that satire is protected speech.

The U.S.A.'s President, Das Pedoführer, routinely exhibits a too-common human behaviour when talking about those he considers to be different "others". As a 3rd-generation German immigrant, every nasty thing he says about immigrants & asylum-seekers is a statement about his grandfather, father->2
What’s more astonishing: 1) that the president clearly believes, and repeatedly suggests, that asylum seekers are people from mental asylums, or 2) that no journalist has ever challenged him on this and no mainstream media outlets have done any deep dives on this story?
