The music seen here comes from his sixth symphony. Most of the melodies are cheerful, but after an especially pompous ending comes the sorrowful last movement with the melody at the bottom of the image. This is sometimes seen as a final goodbye, because soon after the premiere, he died from cholera.

The melodies of Pyotr Tchaikovsky have been heard by most. Even during his life was he successfull, but he also suffered a lot. He was homosexual, and probably had relations and affairs with several men, mostly in sectret. Despite it all he married a woman, but it didn't last long before he left.

One interesting thing about #Inuit #drumming is that the sound isn't produced by hitting the drum skin. Instead, the wooden edge struck, causing a sharp attack while still making the skin vibrate.

The video finnishes with an Ukrainian lullaby, as a sign of a living and indipendent culture. The land that Ukraine sits on today has historically been part of Russia (amongst others), but it is only through Putin's lies and delusions that a modern claim can be made.

This pompous national anthem conveys Russian pride, but it also causes anxiety in many western countries. The same melody was off course used by the Soviet union back in the day.
