Queens Waterfront Greenway Western Workshop is Dec 8 and Our New Bathrooms in Kissena Park Will Be Built in 2026!
The Queens Waterfront Greenway is poised to transform how residents connect to their waterfront and each other. Stretching 16 miles from Gantry Plaza State Park to Fort Totten, the plan will close critical gaps in bike and pedestrian infrastructure, creating a safe, continuous corridor for recreation, commuting, and community life. On December 8, NYC DOT, NYC Parks, and NYC EDC will host a workshop in Astoria focused on the western section of the Greenway, from Gantry Plaza to Bowery Bay. This session is not just informational—it’s a chance for residents to directly shape the design. Feedback gathered will guide short‑term street improvements and long‑term capital projects, ensuring the Greenway reflects community priorities.

College Point is a beautiful, though often forgotten part of our city. We owe it to the kids to build the infrastructure needed to connect them to schools, businesses, parks, and the rest of what New York has to offer.
Help the Kids of College Point Take Their Parks Back
College Point has very little street safety infrastructure, which means it's residents (especially kids) are a high risk of being run over. We've designed a plan that would minimize disruption for the community, but create major routes to safely connect to parks and schools.
