All solo moviegoers remember the first time they went to the theater and saw a private screening. I wish my was something cool but it was Clear and Present Danger in 1994. It was an early matinee in a strip mall theater on a Wed in August of 1994. Gotta admit it made me feel like a movie mogul lol.

Some of us baseball sickos were getting up at 4AM in 2016 to watch Ohtani on his way to winning his first MVP in the NPB's Pacific League & then also the Nippon Series at age 21.

Can't fully explain how hyped the 1990 WHO IS DARKMAN? ad campaign got me as a teen movie lover. They ran little ads in all of the movie mags which perfectly stoked the intrigue. Love seeing the billboard a mile high up in nyc here too.
