It's too fucking cold (zero degrees and it has warmed UP), so jambalaya for dinner.

My partner’s grandparents Good China is our everyday plates and bowls! They just can’t go in the microwave.

But none as angry as Duko, who looked downright murderous. Morrible looked down, meeting his gaze, and Galinda nearly shivered. There was no mistaking that look: more that derision, more than dislike. Unadulterated loathing. “The floor is yours, Madame Morrible,” Addapearle said. Morrible was silent for a long moment, before she took a deep breath. “Despite what the Packleader has implied, there were never official charges drafted against my office. Nor were there sudden discoverations of this so-called evidence.” Duko snapped his jaws. “You two-timing, lying little - “ “However,” she continued. “It was clear to me, even then, that addressing such rumors and innuendos would only have absorbed the time and attention of not only my powers as Eminence, but that of the noble, hardworking Recommendatory Council as well.” Morrible smiled, graciously, bowing her head in respect. “I would have preferred to carry through to the finish, whatever the personal agony it would have involved. To leave office before my term is completed was abhorrent to every instinct of my body. But the interest of the City - this beautiful, shining City - must always come before any personal considerations. I would hope that the citizens of the Emerald City would leave well enough alone, to look to the future, instead of dwelling and obsessing over the past.” She smirked. “But it seems not everyone is so wise.”
