Havoc - God I so wanted to love this. First Gareth Evans since the ok Apostle, but it's pretty bad. The plot is even worse than Hardy's Noo Yawk accent. So simplistic and yet so stupid, why did it take this long ? Partially saved by 2 great action sequences, but it's not enough. A painful 2.5/5

Juror #2 - Poorly written manipulative rubbish trying to ape Twelve Angry Men, but can't even hold a tealight to it. Lots of supposedly good people doing bad things and we're supposed to think that's OK. Sorry, nope 2/5

Thelma - sweet, funny, beautifully paced and structured. A gift of a role for June Squibb, and one last badass role for Richard Roundtree. Excellent stuff 4/5

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, after 36 years they apparently decided this was the perfect script. Everyone except Catherine O'Hara and Jenna Ortega (just) should hang their heads in shame. Tim Burton has been scraping the bottom of his quirky barrel for years but he's really hit rock bottom now. 1.5/5

Aftermath - Die Hard on a bridge, except terrible. Rubbish plotting, awful dialogue, eye rolly flashbacks, characters you don't give one hoot about, and overly flashy direction. Was hoping it would be dumb but fun. Nope. 1.5/5
