I am trying my best to learn Crimean Tatar language now, and I think that it’s a beautiful language — there is a lot of logic in it, just read Lina’s thread!
Would you guess what Crimean Tatars call the "camel bird"? When I first came across it, I had no idea. It’s an ostrich, devequş! The name is composed of two words: "deve" (meaning "camel") and "quş" (meaning "bird").
