I was a bit disappointed too - my work's product is a SPA! But I'm all for anything that can help reduce the need for heavy frameworks.
Page load optimisation using Speculations API. Unfortunately, only really useful for non-SPA

Impulse-bought a ticket to SIX after Web Directions today. Full principal cast 😱 after all of the times I've seen it I finally unlocked the achievement! (It's fantastic in the Theatre Royal. Can see all the faces. But loud.)
