Every day Israeli terrorism

A young man and a child have been injured after Israeli forces raided the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, the Wafa news agency reported.

It cited witnesses as saying Israeli soldiers entered the town with several military vehicles and opened fire in a commercial area, wounding a 20-year-old man in the leg and a 17-year-old boy in the hand.

Both have been taken to hospital for treatment, it said.

Snipers were also deployed on rooftops near the municipality roundabout as soldiers spread through the streets, Wafa added.

The problem is that this view completely ignores the material / social context : radicalism isn’t measured by individual emotional independence, but by the transformation of the structures that constrain our lives.

Yet despite these contradictions, there’s something quietly revolutionary about this moment. The idea that a woman’s life can be complete, even joyful, without a romantic partner would have been radical a generation ago.

Now it’s trending.

United Nations General Assembly Resolution 3379, adopted on 10 November 1975, "Determines that Zionism is a form of racism and racial discrimination" with 72 votes in favour, 35 votes against, and 32 abstentions. It was revoked by Resolution 46/86, adopted on 16 December 1991 with 111 votes in favour, 25 votes against, and 13 abstentions.[1] The vote for Resolution 3379 was held nearly one year after the adoption of Resolution 3236 and Resolution 3237: the former recognized the "Question of Palestine" and invited the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) to participate in international diplomacy; and the latter designated the PLO as a non-member Assembly observer following the "Olive Branch Speech" by Palestinian political leader Yasser Arafat.

I "love" how US people act like Europe is next. Europe’s been there for a long time already. I mean, that kind of infographic has been circulating in France for 20 years, and it just keeps getting worse. The U.S. didn’t invent anything creepy new there.
