WaPo reported that the provision was inserted in negotiations bet Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-NY) & Minority Leader CHUCK SCHUMER (D-NY). If true, Schumer has a lot to answer for! It would allow of the ten to sue for $500,000 for EACH device or email looked at. Each would get millions.

I firmly believe he sold/gave highly class info to Putin that resulted in a rash of undercover agents & informants being killed. I also think he sold nuclear class info. to the Saudis. He'd been trying to get it released to them while potus, but Congress refused. So he just took it when he left.
