#CoHSpoilers Anyway, apparently Slider came to apologize for sneaking up on Maddy. Which may be due to Hagen chewing HIM out for being a dick. Maddy pretty much rejects the apology and tells him to stay away from them. He calls her a 'diversity hire', and Maddy drives off on her motorcycle.

#CoHSpoilers Side note, re-reading this now, it kinda feels like Slider has a goddamn death wish. Like, yeah, he's an asshole (and Maddy tells him that to his face) but it is obvious he has very little respect for the sheep-bear's powers

#CoHSpoilers Meeting ends, Maddy gets told to do anything BUT be in the field, so she fucks off to the cafeteria. But there's an episode where a gentle correction is possibly misread, so they opt to leave the complex entirely. Of course, Slider tries to sneak up on them again, holy crap

#CoHSpoilers Maddy's team lead tells her the official story is she's still on sick leave, though it will be leaked that she's in the penalty box for the interview and not taking it well. All the better to sell the story that Maddy's vulnerable to recruitment to the Korps.

#CoHSpoilers Anyway, it's Op time. Hagen says Maddy's in is Ms Dunlop (Grace), and he can't resist being subtly transphobic about "your kind". Slider is Maddy's handler and they have to make daily check-ins to him.
