I am trying hard not to let it bother me, but here we are, 12 hours later. I am trying to remind myself that hurting people hurt people (she has personal stuff going on) and to let it go - tough as it may be. Working is typically the thief of joy and creativity for me, but today it was my coworker.

But to me, creating art isn’t work. Sure it took my time to make all these things, but she will never understand how incredibly soulfully fulfilling making art, regardless of purpose (self/work/whatever) is. It hurt my feelings that she so easily dismissed something that felt personal.
