Not quite since you’re cutting up instead of across, but it does let you continue knitting in the round and go back later to deal with the fiddly bits.

Yes! Since this sweater has colorwork and a drop shoulder construction, I would have had to knit color work flat for the whole first blue band. Instead I knit in the round and I’ll just cut up both armholes and then pick up for sleeves.

I love them and buy from them all the time! 🌱
