Sitting in a Les Schwab, trying very hard to ignore the inauguration coverage on the TV in the corner.

I used to belong to communities that were centered around my work - theater, and then libraries. Now that I don’t participate in those communities much (or at all), I feel a little lost. I’m curious: what have others done to build relationships and community for themselves?

I never got the hang of Twitter, so I'm not sure what I'm doing here beyond abject rage at certain unnamed alternatives. That being said, this "fun" thing sounds like it might be a good time. Has anybody here had it before? What's it like?
