I played this thing when it was a gacha mobile game and unfortunately the gacha was unusually intolerable even for someone who plays multiple gachas. I guess we should be happy they salvaged it, but sad that many games don't get a second chance like this.

I wonder if this is also intended to rebalance the price tiers and reduce cannibalization. If you needed Live Gold/Core and Call of Duty, you could go Ultimate and get Avowed, Indy, etc and not buy any of those games for like $85/year. A bit more space for Premium at $15 with ult at $30 vs $20.

If not for the time limit, I think this would be a good concept for a catch up set. I only paid for one month of premium and I don't expect to get every cosmetic for free (or even $10/mo). The user experience of cards leaving their sets as you re-dex them is a mess that should not have gone live.

Just got my sets out of storage for my kids. Everything was awesome except the pricing and the accompanying breadcrumb overload. It was probably perfect if you had exactly three additional figures, the starter alone felt like too few options but new levels became a slog if you had too much.

Does the C1 heal feel like enough to solo heal for bloom/burgeon/hyper bloom teams? I remember some grumbling early in the forbidden Lauma knowledge about her healing being locked to C1.

My reaction to the early games was I would pay the money to just watch the interactive movie and make the choices. The gameplay did not feel deep enough for the amount of time I was expected to spend exploring, managing inventory and resources, building characters, etc.

I bought this on Xbox and did not even realize it was (intended to be before the layoffs?) a live service. Quick play seems like a good addition for testing higher difficulty without derailing our ongoing campaign.

Nice. My free standard will go to C6 Tighnari. Haven't seen a lot of good guides because people didn't reliably C6 standard characters until now, but I run him as a dual DPS with Raiden (C3R1), and my rotations are slightly too long, so shortening my rotation by 2s should be a good thing.

It is early but I generally prefer agile characters to big hitters like maul users. On the plus side, Alice came home in time to not threaten my Lucia pulls, will wait for trials to see if Yidhari's tempo works for me.

Still pulling over here. I have tried her in task force (with my built Yuzuha, Yanahi, and Esme), and my impression is she separates the Miyabi mains into those who like Miyabi's play style and those who like being OP. How do you like her?

They did very little to document this, but if you pull three copies (2 dupes) the requirement drops to 1 faction member. You can only tell because when you go to details at Enzo's place, number of characters is listed in a line under upgrade details.

I hope you have a good time. I went like 10 years ago, there was a lot of flashy booths and merch. But also, to manage expectations, many games that are "at" Gamescom are in a separate hall for press and German business license holders.
