Best three quarters of footy I have seen from the Dockers so far. I just wish they could be allowed to play the 4th the same way. You have a 42-point advantage. Why sit back and defend the whole final term? Makes no sense to me. If someone can explain that, I’m all ears.

Whew! Got past that one…
I’ve seen a number of times this week the Dockers don’t need to rush Darcy back to face an easily winnable game against Richmond. I worry less about Darcy in the scenario and more that someone said Freo should easily defeat someone. This game makes me extremely nervous.

I realize it might be counter to what JL is working for, but I’m starting to wonder if instead of endless handballs, perhaps the Dockers could use the Richmond “chaos ball” method of gaining territory. It’s got to be better than what we witnessed against Geelong.

It’s been a long week. I’m feeling a bit feverish, but it’s week one for the Dockers. I am struggling, but I am desperate to see the start of this campaign. The best things in life are Freo!

That 3rd quarter was a bit concerning. Glad to see the Dockers surge a couple of goals late in the term, but gave up 5 goals and lots of one way traffic off the center bounce.

So Darcy, Young, Bolton and Pierce have pre-season injuries and the Dockers first two weeks are against stiff competition. It could be a defining moment for this team depending on if they roll over or rise to the challenge. #foreverfreo

I saw some news bites today of #FireAid. It reminded me of the Concert for the Carolinas back in October. Who better to connect with people about the hardship in life than the musicians who document the human condition so beautifully. Our music is the best book of history ever written.

I have been feeding my 11-year-old daughter my eclectic musical influences since she was an infant. Today, I pushed the limits a bit. It seems Peter Frampton’s talk box on “Do You Feel Like We Do?” and her ASD just had a moment. She was amazed!

Back during the pandemic, I rediscovered a childhood obsession, Aussie Rules football. I adopted Fremantle as my team. Almost 5 years later, I got my 5-year member pin and scarf in the post. Can’t wait for the season start. Give me Flagmantle! #foreverfreo

Getting my chance to watch Sam Konstas debut on Boxing Day. I love the brass it takes to keep playing ramp shots on Bumrah. Siraj loses his cool and gets clowned by the 19-year-old. And Virat takes liberties with him and the young man just gets a 4 next ball. Well played.
