Ya that's completely fair, I do think most folks have consolidated on bluesky. I've been on mastodon for a long time, well before twitter got bought. Probably not worth the effort if you're doing it to drive people to another site.

Aww I'm sorry to hear this. Ya instance churn is definitely a thing, safest is to setup your own. Really easy using masto.host. I've been on woof.group for quite some time but started on queer.party which is in the wind down process.

I don't. Growing up had some painful birthdays and it kinda ruined it for me. However, as an adult I've healed by trying to always travel for my birthday. Gives me a new tradition and distraction. I can't be sad if I'm exploring somewhere new.

Are you talking about the Epstein discharge petition? Even if that passes the house, it'd have to go to the Senate where it will die, and even if that didn't happen it'd get vetoed by Trump and there aren't enough votes to override the veto.

From their Facebook group they've said it's going out after labor day. Considering this is the first day after labor day I'm not surprised it hasn't happened just yet but will soon. They redid their website this year leatherweekend.org and I do expect them to update appropriately.
