The absolute irony of life.. its only now after 5 years since her passing that i truly understand my mother and the kicker is i can never tell her this..

Since turning 40 i have adapted a new way of thinking. If something bothers/angers/upsets you, dont act straight away , instead go for a walk, wait an hour, and then if you feel the same way, then say something.
It has stopped so many arguments and stress its unreal.

Since turning 40 i have adapted a new way of thinking. If something bothers/angers/upsets you, dont act straight away , instead go for a walk, wait an hour, and then if you feel the same way, then say something.

Since joining Bluesky i have written 500 words of a novel, thats 500 more words than i have written in years. Last night my wife read those 500 words and her reaction was "Dont tell me what happens i cant wait to see what happens next" and that was the most rewarding feel i have had for years.

Recently completed another Game Of Thrones watch through. Truly some of the best TV created and i honestly went into this watch wanting season 8 to be a little bit better, age has healed the wounds

Nope still felt angry, so angry i had to eat a family sized trifle to calm down.

Was feeling pretty glum today on my walk to work when suddenly i spotted a giant dog turd with a footprint perfectly inprinted in the middle of it..

I recently found a script i wrote for a college assignment. It was my phase of thinking i could be the UKs Tarrantino. Its cringey , its filled with more swear words than you can shake a stick at and has a man hiding a gun in a badgers arse..
The script is now in its rightful place,in the loft.

The joys of standing in freezing cold weather watching your son play football in his under 10s team. I cant feel my feet, but we won and on the way home brought some lightbulbs.. its a rollercoaster of a life

Giving this a go, so far seems friendly. I have decided to have a go at doing a book, only problem is i have had writers block since 2009 . I keep thinking if i can manage a few sentances a day and build from there, thats something right?
