Ultimately when I got my Orion back in 2015 I was right in the middle of the GTA V crunch, I was working nights 6 days a week, I had no free time, I'd just got a bonus and my "Fuck it I deserve a nice thing" was a £250 mining ship I'd presumably see in the next 10 years (🥲). I don't regret it.

I don't get regular haircuts, I don't have a gym membership, I don't go to the cinema or restaurants, I think paying £45 a month for 3 years to own the latest iPhone is mental & if I'm paying >£100 for shoes then they'd better last 5+ years.

Yet to others those are just regular expenses.

By all means, have luxuries, I'm also in deep on SC. It's just priorities.

I can look outwardly wealthy with my mortgage, 3 vehicles (despite no commute) ski trips & fancy tech (3D Printer/Gaming PC/Niché Peripherals etc.) whilst being paid UK average. My tradeoff is not doing shit like nights out.

Someone tells you that it doesn't have to be this way. You can buy a cheap sports car, or make your existing car 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨 with mods.

It'll be less practical, People will mock, It'll cost more, The upkeep will be horrendous, but a taste of that perfection is in your reach.
