SO, I am back, at least I hope.
Studies got me a bit too strong for this month. I had no time or power to properly work on the game, after a daily cycle of "wake up -> 12 hours of work -> sleep".

I believe this is the last page on a chapter of basic AI development.
Had to rework Combat AI a bit, but it is more flexible than what it was once, allowing complex hierarchies between arms.

It seems that I need a bit more time to finish basic AI.
Yet, Patroling and Wandering options were added. Also improved bots navigation so they do less friendly fire and act more tactical. F.e. surround their target.

This time, I've worked primarly, on AI. I want to add more lobby settings, add 2 more possible behaviors and adress some AI shortsights.
However, as I don't have much to show on that.

I am back with more news on Voyi development.
After exiting 2 weeks long limbo of optimizing AI then Physics, AI, Limbs, Physics... and so on where after each cycle I got +1 active bot at a time, until Render became an issue.
So, I am going back to work.

New devlog on Voyi.
The basic navigation for the AI was added.
Currently, working on optimizations as it is... bad, with 5+ bots.
Also, I want to add more parmeters, so it may help with gameplay depth.
So I'll continue to work on that.

An update on Voyi.
Finished working with a basic Combat agent for AI.
Now it can not only properly use inputs and control arms, but read distance and use opportunity windows.
Now the task is to help them navigate and move.

Small update on Voyi development.
Managed to implement arms controls for the AI. Their decisions are based of AI's and their limbs/equipment agressivness level and players arms positioning.
Currently working on distance reading and attack windows.

Who would guess that multiplayer oriented mechanics will conflict with singleplayer elements of the game?
However, remodeled most of the game objects, and overhauled player physic interactions, so I can work with AI.

Implemented back a control zone for player to avoid collisions from inside.

Late Voyi development news.
From now on player has 4 more tools of destruction, beside a bullet and their own body mass.
Namely: Pickaxe, Sledgehammer, Battle hammer, Shovel.
Updated "Plain tower" map.
Still working on audio, but the only issue now is recording.

Music adaptive effects are now online. Sharing a small demo clip.
