Really gonna miss this great person. I have made a donation to Qmunity in their honour to carry on their legacy for making every community they were part of a better and safer one for queer folks.
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Rootbear (they/them). They were a beloved figure and outgoing pup/furry in the Alberta, Vancouver and Victoria communities. Their talent for making friends out of strangers will be dearly missed.
