Another Final Fantasy title down, 3 does a good job of further enhancing the job system and giving you more to do with it. Granted most of the jobs feel like straight upgrades again.

Third, the good ole fashioned RPGs. Usually involve saving the world while having a great story alongside them. 2D, 3D, JRPG, ARPG, etc. you name it and I'll probably enjoy it.

Second, metroidvanias or your simple action platformers that give you new abilities to traverse and re-explore old areas. There's a good feeling about finding secrets and the new path forward with the abilities you get that also change up combat.

To maybe use this more I think it might be best to delve into some of the things I enjoy doing as hobbies starting with gaming specifically. First and foremost racing games, simple as simple as can be as the name is on the tin. From Mario Kart to iRacing it's all fun.
