I genuinely believe that one of the largest issues with liberalism as an ideology and system is that the link between words and actions does not exist because it can't be algorithmically tied inside of our system of laws without expert evaluation or unless the words *are* the action (slander/libel)
In a lot of cases, they will go out of their way to try to argue that a blatantly racist or transphobic thing isn't racist or transphobic because he was never wearing a pointy hooded robe when he said it and that's their bar.
