Powder Mills, near Postbridge Dartmoor.
Operated between 1844 and 1897 producing "blackpowder" (gunpowder) for the local mining and quarrying industries.
At it's height this remote site had it's own cooperage, water mill, workers cottages and even a school and chapel.
Only a few cottages remain.
