As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

Good time to make your own coffee for a bit.
BREAKING: Starbucks workers have launched a massive, nationwide strike.

Baristas in 40 cities have walked off the job on the busiest day of Starbucks' year.

Upwards of 12,000 @sbworkersunited.org members could ultimately go on strike as the union escalates.

Start a war to distract from Epstein?

Without congressional approval?

After some representatives ignored your efforts to whip vote?

As the cracks in your "electorial mandate" grow?

Lotta political capital being expended there.

I wonder if this is what it felt like to live through the Watergate scandal.

Kinda wild we haven't had a recent Epsteingate think piece.

Either nature is healing or the NYT fired all the writers and even the LLM knows the title is stupid.

It's the "importance: High" that slays me.
genuinely very few things more satisfying than reading the kinds of emails rich and famous people send each other

Is that really a supposed service member claiming Vitamin I does nothing?
JD Vance calls ibuprofen "useless medication" and implies it's not "necessary, safe and effective."

Wouldn't evidence of perjury cancel whatever paperwork got her moved?
Ghislaine Maxwell lied about Trump never going to Epstein's house (directly contradicted by her email correspondence with Epstein), and she was rewarded for that lie with a transfer to a cushier prison. The coverup is happening in plain sight.

David Axelrod claiming that Dems will keep winning because every election is about trump is somewhat contradicted by the fact that NONE OF THE CANDIDATES WHO WON RAN ON STANDING UP TO TRUMP!!!!

Fire the consultants Dems, they aren't worth the paper they waste.

I have in my hands definitive evidence that my opponent has committed a world-historic evil. Evidence that, were it to be released to the public, would cause his supporters to abandon him and his entire world to crumble to dust. I therefore have no choice but to give in to every one of his demands

If I am learning anything from these Epstein emails, it's that those signature block distribution disclaimers don't seem to work.

Religious exceptions to standards erode good order and discipline, you say? So like … no more “my religion forbids this specific vaccination (but not the others)” then?
Hegseth: "We don't need to be a military of beardos anymore. Do you know how many troops claim to be Nordic Pagan? No, suddenly it's become this real fake religious affiliation inside the Pentagon where troops came to be Nordic Pagan so they can grow a beard and nobody challenges them on it."

It’s 12 November, so it’s time to mark the 55th anniversary of the exploding whale of Oregon, an attempt to clear a cetacean carcass from a beach which prompted one reporter to say “The blast blasted blubber beyond all believable bounds”

It's "open-knowledge" but unless people talk to reporters, it's not really "OPEN-knowledge."

It's "open-knowledge" that CO of CG AIRSTA Washington DC was forced to retire because he pissed off Kristi Noem on the first fam-flight. But does the public know that? 🤔

I hate the narrative idea that working for free is somehow more patriotic than capitalism.
Sean Duffy threatens "action" against air traffic controllers who didn't come to work during the shutdown: "I'm concerned about their patriotism."

The first and last lines of Joni Ernst’s legacy as a human on earth will be that she was instrumental in the confirmation of the Sec of Defense most hostile to women serving in military, and she knew that when she voted for him.

As with all things. Can be easily explained by "but how do I get money out of that?"
Other folks have said it, but let me just note that:

(1) lots of talented, must-read journalists have been let go from their jobs over the last year

(2) millions of Americans are abandoning current media outlets and looking for new alternatives

Seems like a sure-fire business opportunity here?

Why eould you think any ultimatum they make will be taken as an ultimatum?
Now that Dems have capitulated, at the very least they should now make every future extension of funding contingent on Trump following the law. Any lawbreaking must be met with: No more votes from us, period.

I moved to the U.K. in 2017. I pay £10 for a prescription. I pay national insurance which is around £2000 per year (£166 per month).
The British also have to take 4 weeks holiday per year.
