Tbh I love browsing games but almost every jrpg looks the same on the surface. I have decent instincts when determining if a game is good from the trailer + reviews but I'm hesitant to try jrpgs because every trailer leaves me kinda neutral. E33 only grabbed me because the art direction is peak
if it is an insult it is only towards an incurious audience who dont realise that they simply already like weirdo jrpgs, similar to how BG3 made whole bunch of people realised they already like crpgs

The year is 2013, Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs has released to mixed reception because although it is a good game, it is missing elements that fans loved in the first game. It is a game that would be better if "Amnesia" wasn't tied to it.

Having significantly more fun on my second playthrough of Silksong than my first. While my skill has improved the big difference this time around is playing fast and loose with which crest/tools I run with. Silksong is so much better balanced than HK

I know this is mostly a me thing, but I really despise universal contact damage in 2D games. Am I dying to some crazy 7-swing combo from the badass knight? No, I'm dying because after the combo he took two steps forward while I was trying to punish and bumped into me.

Just now realizing Nightreign doesn't have any legendary faith-weapons or seals. And that just makes the already bad RNG for getting seals even worse. Just did a full Noklateo sweep and not a single seal. Had to fight super Adel with just a black flame on a blue seal.

So I've completed the mages guild and I'm working on the thieves guild. I've just been tasked with stealing a staff from myself. Then I need to leave a note in my dresser for me to find later from the Grey Fox. The note threatens that I will steal more from myself later if I don't get more guards.
