Americans should take note that an antimajoritarian Senate denying the will of Australian voters was the source of this constitutional crisis.

BREAKING update to my lawsuit against DC Metropolitan PD for body cam footage from USIP raid —

We've submitted our response, including sworn declarations from *six* USIP workers, 1 of whom says he "observed members of MPD giving each other high-fives and fist bumps" after removing staff from bldg.

BIG NEWS: Congresswoman-elect Adelita Grijalva will finally be sworn in as a member of Congress tomorrow.

She is likely to be the 218th vote on the Epstein discharge petition, which would force a full vote to release the Epstein files in their entirety.

Yesterday, when Bovino announced ICE would be returning to Little Village today, some of us donated and fundraised to buy out street vendors in the neighborhood. This morning, volunteers hit the streets at 6:30 am, looking for vendors to buy out. Tamales make an excellent breakfast.

This is the FIFTH ICE flight out of Chicago in less than week, per tracking by @jjindc.bsky.social.. (2 GlobalX, 3 Avelo)

Never seen that many stops to one city in a week. My guess, they’ve extracted all the overcrowding-induced “voluntary” deports they’re gonna get, so now they’re moving out.
Just moments ago, detainees transported from ICE’s Broadview facility this morning were loaded onto an Avelo Airlines plane in Gary, Indiana.

And McConnell kept his job by delivering. Fearing revolt explains a lot of his actions post 2010 when he blocked Obama at every move and stole a SCOTUS seat.
Republicans absolutely hated McConnell.

Hi.

I’ve been editor-in-chief of Teen Vogue for the last 4.5 years — a dream job, one I never thought a Brown girl from small town Louisiana might hold.

I am so incredibly proud of the work we’ve done and what we accomplished. Our journalism has won major awards. (cont’d)

This is consistent with what we reported on Saturday, though the framing is (preposterously) positive.
-Schumer was getting regular updates from the Cave Caucus
-He didn't want to be seen as pro-caving but was fine with them negotiating to cave
-Shaheen wouldn't say Schumer was working against her

Kudos to @lastweektonight.com for covering felony murder, an incredibly racist law used to charge people for murder when cops kill someone using "look what you made me do!" abuser logic. Abolish it.

Even as someone who has never had COVID (that I know of) this is so real. It feels like the entire world is gaslighting me abt Long COVID, climate change, capitalism, Democrats, Palestine, etc.

I can see the appeal of just enjoying my life with no sense of responsibility, but I cannot and will not.
Living with Long COVID often feels like living in a horror movie. Along with your disease comes a creepy Hive Mind refusal to acknowledge the dangers of COVID infection. In Vince Gilligan's new Apple TV show Pluribus, the Hive Mind comes to life:
