I feel very grateful to be an adult person with control over my life and a safe and clean place to live and a job ect. It is very surprising, there is still a kind of mystery to it, and also a kind of ambivalence. It is hard to explain.

Update: Heart of Darkness, good book so far. Quite good, even.

A related but somewhat contrary thought is that i want to read Heart of Darkness, i havent. Another is that it is funny how we have so many stories now about Going to Outer Space that are completely deaf to the Sublime. Iron Lung was good at this but it wasnt really about space either.
