*And* the 14 games they are re-releasing *won't even come out all at once* and will instead be drip-fed over time.

I struggle to see how the peripherals were priced how they are, even accounting for tariffs. Would the $25 piece of stylized cardboard cost $20 instead?

If you want to play old games through official channels as opposed to emulators, this is what you're expected to pony up.

All this for a system that is most notable for being a massive financial failure, with only 22 games arriving on the system *ever*.

If you want to go with the least 'generous', most expensive pricing:

Switch 2: $449.99
Virtual Boy Plastic Model: $99.99
Switch Online + Expansion Pack: still $49.99/yr

Grand total: ~$600.00 USD
September 12, 2025 at 3:50 PM
Nintendo Switch (original): $339.99
Switch Online + Expansion Pack: $49.99/yr
Virtual Boy cardboard shell: $24.99

The minimum cost to play Virtual Boy games is ~$415.00 USD. This is the *most generous* pricing, assuming you get everything at MSRP.

Do you think if Undertale released episodically like Deltarune people would be making theory videos on the lore implications of why certain tiles are off-colored

Here's a WIP of a thing I forgot to post from last week.

The idea is on-stream, people can click on the models and cause them to play a short animation with an accompanying sound effect.

The video I posted yesterday shows this system running in Godot, but I'm still setting up all of them.

This reminds me of a recent Blender issue I had

My colors were looking weird and washed out, turns out Blender defaults to using a 'filmic' color space that just looks a little shitty as a treat, and you have to go into a buried sub-menu to change it
