The hardest part of running a one-man-band business is keeping the up tempo. Playing the rhythm and the lead while holding your tune is a rough slog. My performance may not be a tight as a band, but their margins will never be as fat as mine! The premium for certainty is not always worth it's cost.

We had to go in front of the #Troy historic district and landmarks review commission for permission on our project plan. A debrief:
"Overall went really well all things considered. I'm hopeful I can get fire department approval given that the alley has several other similar encroachments."

I’m extatic. Over the moon! I found the building’s original antique door hidden in a loft. Here comes the restoration! The B/W photo shows the door in the 1930s to the left of the theater marquee.
