If anyone is struggling with self hosted Git/LFS for #gamedev, Gitea saved my weekend. Their installation instruction with docker-compose is super clear and everything is working as it should for now.

I've discovered the game Foreclosed: Amazing NPR visual style!

I really like how gradient and outlines are managed. The shading that is bleeding outside the outlines is also really nice (3rd image, the hand).

I've made my whole geometry generation in GDScript but I've way too much memory leaks. Seems that I didn't catch some aspects of it.
I guess I'm going back to C++, at least I will understand what I do and it will be faster.

Outline system with customizable stroke color ✨

I've added two buffers to Godot: one for the object ID, and one for the stroke color.
Then in a compositor effect, I take the stroke color from the nearest pixel in the neighbourhood.

I gave up and finally started to modify Godot itself to do what I want.

It took me 3 evenings to understand how Godot handle internally all its buffers, but I've now a custom buffer to do whatever I want with it!
