Spending a week in Hawaii to reset my mental health.

For the last few years I’ve removed myself from social media about as much as possible without fully cutting it off. I’ve focused on myself and done great things for my career, but at the cost of a lot of connections with people. I want to start changing that again.

Kinda bummed I'm not going to be out at MAGfest this year with my peeps, but I seem to only be able to work up the ability to handle massive crowds like that once every two years. I hope everyone who is going has a lot of fun. I'll miss mixing drinks for y'all.

Hanging in there today. I miss being more active on social media, but I pulled back from Facebook, deleted my Twitter two years ago, and have generally been a hermit for a while. I miss producing music. I want to do that more this year. How are you doing out there?

Been in New York for the holidays. Hope everyone is doing well. Looking forward to hitting the ground running for 2025.

I did an informal powerlifting event over the weekend, and wanted to share some of the lift videos here. It's been a fun journey lifting, and I'm looking forward to see where I go in 2025 with it.

My recent health and fitness changes have been simultaneously exciting, exhausting, and isolating. I think I'm moving in a positive direction, but I need to make sure to take care of my mental health while all of this is going on as well. Part of me wants to start producing music again.

Rack deadlifts today. 3 sets of 5-8 reps, at a peak weight of 405 lbs. I’m getting stronger, but still a long way to go.

As we get into the last month of the year, everything starts to speed up a ton. I haven't taken time off of work since January, so I took this whole week off and two weeks at the end of December. Processing a lot of burnout right now, but doing a lot of reflecting, too.

Looks like it's finally time to start using this more again. It's been a year since I sold my car and started biking instead. Took up powerlifting, did my first meet. Hope everybody's doing well; feel free to reach out and say hi.

I used to think I had fairly decent foresight, but the constantly accelerating march that we are making towards AGI sometimes keeps me up at night, and it's wild to see advancements coming faster, and cheaper, and easier.
