Our advocacy works. Your rallying, calls, emails, social posts, and public pressure made it impossible for decision-makers to ignore the urgent need to protect food assistance for families across the state. Thanks for coming together as a community to care for each other and fight for food access!

You showed up by the hundreds at the Rally for SNAP at the State House. Over 800 of you sent more than 7,500 messages to federal and state policymakers demanding these funds. And you donated generously to extend food access to people when they needed it most.

Current SNAP households who have missed a monthly payment should begin seeing benefits on their cards within the next few days to one week. Households that have not yet missed their monthly payment will receive their benefits on their regular date.

Update: Since posting this, the Federal government submitted a notice to appeal: this action prevents people frome feeding themselves and their families.

Just like a partially filled gas tank can only take you so far, partial funding for SNAP won’t give people the food they need. People need access to their full benefits. Urge our government to stop this manmade crisis and FULLY fund SNAP benefits.
