Just published today! Our group used mosquitoes as flying syringes to conduct surveillance on pathogens of turkeys, white-tailed deer and invasive wild pigs. Not only could we detect DNA and RNA viruses, we could estimate prevalence! 🌎🧪👩‍🔬

I spent an amazing 2 days at San Diego Zoo Global for the annual meeting of the black-footed ferret conservation genomic working group. During a break, we got to visit Ollie, the 2nd of 3 cloned Przewalski's horses, who will aid in genetic restoration of the species. 🌎🧪👩🏻‍🔬
