The court got it wrong.

Denying transgender youth the health care they need solely because they’re trans is discriminatory, and we will keep fighting.

BREAKING: The Supreme Court ruled Tennessee’s law banning gender-affirming medical care for transgender youth can remain in effect.

This is devastating for trans people and our families but doesn’t end our work against President Trump’s attacks on trans people and our health care.

Read the dissents first because there's no way that trans liberation won't happen at some point. Just not today, sadly.

And when it does happen, all these transphobic bellends will pretend they were always for trans rights.

I'm disgusted.

Excited to share my new article, Menstrual Justice Post-Dobbs, 2025 Wis. L. Rev. 675. It analyzes the legal support for the regulation of menstruation to control abortion, procreation, work and school. Here's the link: wlr.law.wisc.edu/wp-content/u....

The beginnings of an abortion procedure - menstrual extraction. This history confirms the need for privacy and autonomy over one’s menstrual cycle and data as part of reproductive freedom. Thank you Carol Downer for fighting hard for these things. www.nytimes.com/2025/01/26/h...

She opened clinics, worked to educate women about their reproductive health, and promoted an abortion technique she felt was safe enough for laypeople.
