This is an excellent choice. Carney is a clear-minded and intelligent man who understands the big picture. He operates with an overarching set of values that he'll bring to this important point in Canada's economic and social issues.

That's certainly not true - Putin is enjoying the fact that Trump is doing everything he can to force Ukraine to surrender to a murderous dictator.

There are many. Islam in its original form did not (as I understand it) disrespect women or call for them to be disrespected. In fact I think there are many countries where Muslims respect women. Afghanistan as led by the Taliban isn't one of them.

Afghanistan sinks further into the abyss created by the Taliban. Reminder that they said women would be respected in the early days of their takeover following the calamitous withdrawal of UK and US forces. Women's lives are now a misery. Shameful.

What a disgrace. Held for 23 YEARS and never charged with any offence. The US owes this man serious compensation.
