My mom who has #Alzheimers fell & broke her eye socket 😞 the trip to the ER was infuriating. She was there for 8 hours, I was there for 7.5 hrs & if I wasn't there to speak up for her, they wouldn't have stopped the bleeding, changed her, or given her pain meds on site or an RX for pain meds.

When I tried to adopt my dog, I initially got rejected bc the application said I wouldn't allow him to jump on the couch. I was like don't listen to him, that's what he says now 😂 they gave us the dog and he runs our life 🐕

Sometimes we send out the wrong messages & wonder why no one responds! I see people who are quick to "blame" individuals w/o first looking at their communications. Always check yourself! look at this message I've been getting every week for 12 weeks...there is no red button 😬

Our concrete jungle I don't know but I thought these huge birds were falcons! There are tons of squirrels in the field below. They just wait. It's so dramatic, but you miss it if you're not paying attention.

Remembering my friend Carla. She made a big impact at Beloit college, she had a faculty friend she'd have margaritas🍹w & I bet those where lively convos. She left us her research. She was kind, beautiful, & smart!
