Any car, even electric cars, aren’t the best. Public transit needs better funding
IMPORTANT: This ranks a bunch of ways we get around cities, using average carbon emissions by transport type in grams per pkm. It breaks emissions down by operation, manufacture etc.

Feet and bikes win. Lots of ways beat electric cars, and everything beats gas cars.

Russia did exactly this to HRC in 2016, aiming to suppress her vote, and probably did. Musk no doubt did suppress Harris voting as well with these demotivation techniques. This should be illegal.

-Most battery electric vehicles sold (121k)
-Highest battery electric (8.6%) and plug-in vehicle sales shares (10.2%)

TO BE CLEAR, despite the many complexities, problems & grey areas that make electric vehicles MUCH more complicated than the “silver bullets” many claim them to be, I DO support the rapid replacement of ICE vehicles with EVs.

It will take longer and be more complicated than boosters think.

BUT…

It's clear that electric vehicles are the direction of travel for the automotive industry for their running cost, emissions, driver experience and other advantages

Here’s the blunt reality — reasonably-sized electric vehicles need to be the future of cars, but cars can’t be the future of urban mobility.

Fewer cars.
Less driving.
More inviting mobility choices.
Better communities and cities.

These are the 4 pillars of the REAL urban transportation solution.

Around this time last year, headlines suggested a possible slowdown in the demand for electric vehicles (EVs).

However, despite some indications of a moderating pace, EV sales are still set to reach record levels in 2024.
