I haven’t been posting much for the last few weeks because I’ve been busy making cards to give away at Santa Cruz’s Hand’s Off Protest. My goal is to bring attention and support to Earthjustice, who is suing the Trump administration over their illegal Executive Orders.

Painting the ocean as Chuck Schumer caves to Trump. Thanks to my California representatives @schiff.senate.gov @padilla.senate.gov and Jimmy Panetta for standing up for your constituents

Visited the Exploration Center for the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. Here in Santa Cruz we’re incredibly lucky to live in this protected area. I’m extremely concerned about Trump’s efforts to destroy our oceans, and fire important staff members protecting them.

Perfect time of year to practice painting clouds. And a great day for @5calls.org. Thank you for your no vote on CR Rep. Jimmy Panetta!

Quick beach sketch before making 5Calls. Trump is reckless and uninformed in making decisions about of federal forests.

I can paint without spending anything tomorrow during the economic boycott. And I won’t be posting on Facebook, Instagram or Threads. Just here!

Same view looks completely different every day. I try to paint every day. And make #5calls. Thanks to my Representative @jimmypanetta for having the voicemail available on the weekend! But @adamschiffca is never available.

This tranquil beach scene doesn’t show the chaos of dozens of seals and hundreds of birds just offshore at Sunny Cove Beach in Santa Cruz. And it doesn’t show the chaos of the Trump-Musk coup going on right now. #5calls every day

Work, walk, paint, make 5 calls @5calls.org #santacruz

MLK day. Didn’t watch the inauguration. Instead walked through the forest with the very
few remaining monarch butterflies , admired the beach, and painted.

Tomorrow will be a tough day for all of us so I’m trying to follow Jasmine Crockett’s advice and find beauty in the journey. Sunset at Corcoran Lagoon in Santa Cruz
