went for a hike today and found that a recent storm that dumped 2' of wet snow had snapped a lot of trees, many blocking the trail
a mature pine tree snapped in half with the top laying across a hiking trail. I'd estimate the point of fracture is ~7' high. a small, moss covered waterfall on a hillside. a felled pine tree is visible near the top.
