Also put in Goblin Medics as a removal engine (it can fire multiple times a turn with Quirion Ranger), and source of direct damage. And also one copy of Sunshot Militia as a more powerful direct damage option against fog locks, that can take advantage of my wide board.

As well as the protection I used for Soul Sisters with Field Surgeon and Crimson Acolyte.
The former is extremely versatile, as the damage prevention can support unfavourable attacks as well as protecting against removal, but the latter is stronger vs monored.

In the sideboard I've got Goblin Bushwhacker for speeding up the kill against combo decks, and Conclave Phalanx for a big life gain to stabilise against aggro/burn.

I've also got a couple of staples, Nyxborn Hydra for pushing damage through, and reach blocking, and Thraben Inspector as an extra 1-drop for the manabase, and as well as late game card draw, the clue is also something Gene Pollinator can tap.

Been brewing up a new Pauper deck, went through a few names but I think I've settled on Selesyna Stompy.
Basically, it uses the creature based manabase of my Soul Sisters deck, and then takes as much advantage of the high creature count as possible.

There aren't a lot of good banding creatures, so being able to pad out with some strong birds might be better.

Just started rereading Daughter of Mystery again for like... the 6th time? I really like this book, and it's a shame I don't see it talked about much.
The romance is a little reserved, but if you want a slow burn semi-historical lesbian romance, with rich people society it's great.

Oh, and for bonus points they have an androgynous character voice that kinda fits some trans characters better than anything in BG3.

Also I had not realised quite how much material there is for shipping Sawako and Ume. Like, Sawako gets sparkly about Ume more than she does about Kazehaya, and the arc ostensibly about them competing for him is 90% about *their* relationship.

I've got Field Surgeon and Prismatic Strands for that currently, but it can be hard to cast either if I can get non-green mana.
Thinking about swapping in a Radiant Grove so I have another option for white mana if I need it.
A Crimson Acolyte would probably help too.

Night Market Lookout has been performing well in the flex slot. I had been thinking about adding another sister, and this is similar, but lets me apply consistent pressure, also sometimes lets me get an extra burst of drain with Quirion Ranger to close out games.
