I’ve always known how important affirming care is because I love my kid. I learned, listened, and supported her because that’s unconditional love. Now it’s your turn. Listen to parents, trans people, and doctors, and then advocate or leave us alone.

Watch this video. Process what she’s saying. Believe it. It’s powerful. It’s sincere.

As a side: Be loud. Stand up. Don’t let the beauty and potential of our trans humans go to waste. Defend them. They need us.
1. Democrats railed against an anti-trans omnibus bill in Georgia, calling it an attempt to turn the state into a theocracy.

It targets trans people in every aspect of public life, and redefines the word "equal" for transgender people.

This is classic.

Between Cincinnati, Alabama, and this Nazi below at the happiest place on earth, it’s been a rough day for trans people. Stay strong. Keep being loud. You’re worth it.

“We have different beliefs”

The idea of discussing trans people like they’re a “belief” has to end. They’re real. Measure a person on their intent, not their gender or pronouns. If your “beliefs” inhibit how you treat others, your beliefs are the problem and you need to change.

A great article that further accentuates the domino effect risk of allowing the government to deconstruct care for our trans youth.

Stand up. Be loud.
i see people comparing this to the way trans youth healthcare was the canary in the coal mine for attacking all trans people, and i talk about this in the piece 🩷
New from me —

“What it comes down to is the removal of choice, especially when it comes to established health care. People should not have to suffer the anguish of being denied life-saving drugs because a couple of guys have decided to apply conspiracy theories instead of established science.”

Very astute, Daniel Radcliffe. Very astute.

“…It was an absolute privilege to get to meet and listen to this incredible group of young people. At the end of the day, if you're going to talk about trans kids, it might be useful to actually listen to trans kids."

Seeing and being amongst the protesters fighting for trans rights was moving and motivating! To every single trans person, kid, adult, and baby that doesn’t have the words to explain it yet: You deserve to be you. Who you are only belongs to you. You’re worth fighting for.
Our voice is growing.

Strong protest at Seattle Children’s today! Great energy, great community, great cause! Affirming care saves lives! Protect trans youth!

Stand up. Make noise.

Make it stick! Thank you ACLU! Keep fighting everyone! These EOs are criminal and blatant government-sponsored efforts to create prejudice and hurt real people, trans people.
Major breaking trans news: The ACLU has launched a lawsuit on behalf of 7 transgender people affected by Trump’s passport ban.

Incredible filing. The Trump admin is now swarmed with lawsuits over discriminatory and illegal executive orders.

Get at it Wa! Keep calling, emailing, and making noise! Be loud. Be heard. Protecting trans care is protecting civil rights!
Major breaking trans news: The States of Washington, Minnesota, and Oregon have sued the Trump administration to block it from enforcing a national gender affirming care ban for those under 19 years of age.

This is the second major lawsuit over Trump's trans ban EO.

Docs to come.

Donald Trump has released a new EO to "eradicate anti-Christian bias."

What is one of the examples of "anti-Christian bias" cited in his order? The recognition by Biden of Transgender Day of Visibility, which fell on the same day as Easter Sunday last year.

I highly suggest following Erin Read. I also suggest you contact your Attorney General and ask them fight the unlawful executive order trying to ban affirming care. Be a voice.
Breaking news: State attorneys general from California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Vermont, and Wisconsin advise Trump's EO banning trans care is unlawful, hospitals should provide care.

Big counter salvo!
