Big day for Bob on Thursday with a trip to our amazing vets for assessment and surgery. After swabs and cultures, he’s been on a long course of antibiotics, and his wound was reassessed, debrided, and stitched.

Yesterday was a busy one! Lots of new admissions — including Echidna, who came to us after 24 hours of stabilising at Pelyn Vets. Found out in the daytime, hypothermic and dehydrated, but now looking much brighter ❤️🦔

He’s recovering from ringworm — a fungal skin infection that can cause dry skin, hair loss and sometimes prickle loss.
Progress is slow but steady, and he’s heading in the right direction 💪💚

Narwhal joined us a few days ago after an entrapment incident. Her claws are very worn from trying to escape, but there’s no sign of infection. We’ll continue to monitor her closely.

Octopus was one of six new admissions yesterday after being rescued from a drain. Her claws are worn but show no signs of infection. We’ll be monitoring her breathing closely over the next few days.
