Grabbed my first batch of cards from the Magic the Gathering/Avatar set today. I was particularly struck by how fittingly creepy the foil version of Joo Dee looks. Well done, WotC, you finally made one of these IP sets I actually like.

I think I'm going to get a bit more in the holiday spirit tonight once I'm off work. I still have a few choice movies to watch and I'm picking up the perfect treat to go along with it. And because I'm an adult, I'm going to be an indulgent little freak and eat it with chocolate milk.

I was always about the cracker eating game, personally. Over the summer I even got a copy signed by some of my favorite online game streamers. They don't have much connection to the game but it was an odd intersection of gaming I couldn't resist.

It's time for an #Otakon2025 merch post! Mostly a lot of small KPDH trinkets this year, but with an unexpected skull sub theme. Also, there was no way I was going to resist someone selling a #TotallySpies print so vibrant and excellent.

My current job involves showing streaming features on major TV brands, including Sony. Sony also makes great animation worthy of showing off on high end TVs. All this synergy gives me all the excuses to just play KPop Demon Hunters clips and music videos all day on the job. Not bad.

Behold my newest gaming project: I got an original PlayStation 2 and found the hard drive adapter loose as an add-on. Going to find a hard drive or SSD later so I can mod it to play games off the hard drive as well as my old collection of discs. Also snagged a Simpsons game as a bonus.
