Unpacking a box from like 17 (?!) years ago today, found a "time capsule" of some hip-hop and a Leonard Cohen CD. Have been streamining so long I'd forgotten I was even missing these, haven't heard a bunch of it in years. Gonna be a sweet musical week! 🥳

Don't share a lot of personal photos on here but can't help it with this one. Popped up on a memory reel. Three-ish years ago, shortly after our little phoenix didn't need near constant oxygen anymore. Will forever be one of my favorite pictures 🥰

You a Neal Stephenson fan, at all? His book Fall goes pretty deep into reflecting on how contemporary information and communication technologies have shattered shared "truth" and broken our ability to communicate 😔 one random excerpt...

Me: "You did great on your geography homework! Except, there's no such thing as the Southern Ocean"

10 y/o: "Yes there is"

Me: "No there's not"

10 y/o: "Yes there is"

Me: "I'm certain there is not"

10 y/o: "Yes there is"

Me: <sigh, Googling> "I'll prove it to you"

10 y/o: "🙄 Ok dad"

Me: "🤯😲"
