One of the best pieces of advice I still adhere to is… 2 days before the tournament, 0 chess, absolutely none. Give yourself time to rest and develop the hunger for chess. If you feel like you have to review lines or do puzzles…absolutely don’t. Then when it comes to game day you’re ready and hungry

Oof! I can relate. Though not to that degree. It is unlikely that I would ever have +6 against a Grandmaster. You can still be proud though! I would be!
