TikTok is banned in my country, but I’d probably use it just to see what the fuss is about if it weren’t. I’m under 30 and I already don’t like Reels or Shorts. I do occasionally check the Shorts tab of YouTubers I like. Anthony Fantano’s short form content is pretty decent.

Maybe watch Kav’s videos on Islamophobia and see how he criticises Indians for supporting Israel’s genocide of Palestinians. Notice what he and other leftists say about Indian fascists and their thirst for Muslim blood. I think their criticism of these Indians is valid. Don’t you?

1. I didn’t generalise a billion people. I was precise with my language when I said that some of the criticism Indians receive is valid, I didn’t say all. I was clearly referring to the left’s criticism of Indian extremists. I’m certain this conflation is just a deflection tactic on your part.

1. You dare call me a fool when you can’t even differentiate between valid criticism of India’s deeply conservative culture and racism. Maybe these Indians should be ashamed of a culture that promoted practices like sati and upheld the caste system, which oppressed people for thousands of years.

2. The Kavernacle himself has been critical of those types of Indians on his channel. It wouldn’t be a surprise if you turned out to be a Hindu nationalist yourself, because most Indian Muslims and other oppressed people would know what I was talking about.

1. I’m a loser because I call out the hypocrisy of Hindus. I’m a loser because I want Indians to be not racist, Islamophobic, casteist and misogynist. A lot of the criticism Indians receive is because people now know what these Hindu nationalists do in their own country.

I don’t understand how anyone could like anything after the first season, especially season 4 was bonkers. Joyce in season 1 reminds me of my mother, but overall it’s so overrated.

I stopped watching him years ago. I always had a sense that he didn’t know what he was talking about, but watching him take down conservatives was kinda amusing. Once he stopped doing that, there was no reason left to pay him any attention.

1 - When asked, Sam told Jubilee that he’s a progressive. He’s also said he’s left of centre. I think Emma would say the same. Matt Lech does seem to be the most left leaning one there.
