Our house is 40 years old and this was considered open concept at the time.
I really like it because I have walls but also when the kids were small or when I need to yell at someone in the living room when I’m in the kitchen I can easily get a line of sight 😂

Yep. I make it in a mason jar with holes in the lid for the water to get in.
I couldn’t find a lid just collars yesterday so I improvised with tin foil and it worked great
