And it was like, oh yeah, life after politics is sure to be rough for a good-looking dude with a famous last name, friends in high places, and generational wealth.

But they were so convinced the whole world hated him as much as they did, because they were exposed to nothing else.

Wildfire ash darkens and accelerates glacier melt. The layers of why this is bad news are like peeling an onion, but it has to make Manitobans nervous as we watch our lake and river levels. Gift article from G&M.

As a side note, I do wonder if the reason that “Poutine” is the only menu item labelled in the Roman alphabet is that in Ukrainian Cyrillic, it would be the same as or very similar to “Putin”

After my last bloodwork my Dr got me to take iron and b-12 everyday "do you feel fatigued?" "oh, I guess that's what this is..." and as a result I've been much more alert while I've been super stressed/depressed the last few months. Awesome. 🙄

It's wild that Canada used to purchase fully 1/3 of US wine exports and, because of Trump, is now on track to single-handedly destroy much of the US wine industry.
U.S. wine export markets have contracted substantially. In April, the year-over-year export value dropped by 41.4%, worsening the 28% decline recorded in March. The three main export destinations for U.S. wine—Canada (-93%), the UK (-29%), and China (-70%)—all reported significant decreases.

Did Otter start the game well? No, of course not.

You didn't bench Rantanen even though he had 0 goals and only 11 shots. You gave Benn and Seguin regular shifts even though they are both washed AF.

Otter is the reason the Stars made the West final. Unreal treatment by DeBoer.

If I was Otter, I'd want TF out of Dallas or ol Pete turfed after this...

This is why the Jets rode with Helle the entire way. You simply can't throw your franchise goalie under the bus like this when your entire team has sucked 3 games prior.
DeBoer: "I didn't blame it all on Jake, but the reality is if you go back to last year's playoffs, he's lost six of seven games to Edmonton. And we give up two goals on two shots in an elimination game. ... That's a pretty big sample size."

I kinda long suspected the "toughness" of hockey players was overhyped when they made it known that they didn't want to play in cold weather cities.
I love my sport but imagine players across baseball saying there’s too much pressure to be a yankee so we don’t want to go there or the Lakers?

We’re the tough sport but worried about fans and media?
