New drop just hit… this feels more in line with where I’d expect…

I’m partial to the earlier version… but same.

I needed this night, honestly.

People will come, Ray.

If any folks in Orlando are looking for a place to speak out about this, the Dezers own a weird indoor theme park / private car collection attraction… Dezerland.

I adore my Tomorrowland-referencing red NASA meatball cap… but I do wear it less often than I used to. That hurts because it’s an object that’s supposed to mean “Optimism.”

I’m lucky it doesn’t have the same starched, stilted profile of those other hats. It looks like a *real* ballcap.

I hold that this is *hands down* the creepiest sign I have ever seen.

I know it sounds trite, but it's a marker: I'm waiting for the single serving pies at Walmart to leap in price.

They were 50 cents before COVID, jumped to 84 cents during and have held steady since. But I'm watching them every time I walk by.

Sometimes you need to go someplace where you can find a bit of inspiration and strength.

Not many better to provide that than a stalwart Abolitionist general. Luckily he’s just a few blocks away for me.

This version also works shockingly well…

Tonight felt like it was time to update this old chestnut…

We had our campus activities fair tonight - over 100 student clubs had tables, meeting new members and friends, being joyful, being themselves… making community.

The logistics of it all are my portfolio. I’m so excited by how well it went - they had so many filled signup sheet!

Here, for no related reason, is a closeup of the map of density of enslaved people in central Alabama in 1860 - Chilton County was subdivided from Autauga, Bibb, Perry and Shelby counties.

I do hope that Renee Powers from Clanton, Alabama is so vastly happy with what’s she - and others beside her - have done.

The fucking sad part is… I’m sure she is ecstatic.

This photo is going to be used in history books a century from now - and not in a kind light.
